Sir, I'm going to need to see your Shrink Credentials.

6. Get a Therapist... Chip-Chop-Chip

An EXCERPT from: "Eight Best Reactions to Shift Out of a Messy Divorce"

Take it from Scarlett, if credentials go unchecked, you may find yourself in front of a recovering alcoholic, part-time real estate agent, and now part-time interning therapist. (You think I’m making this up? See my Carrie Fisher quote adjacent to the Dedication.) Let him treat the mid-life crisis alcoholics, for Gosh sakes. Your life is too valuable for a rookie.

This is your life, and no quack imposter should be “cutting their teeth” on it.

Interview a few recommended Therapists on the phone, and find someone with who you connect. If the sessions are too easy or too clinical, then move on. Your gut will tell you what feels right.

Many avoid therapy, as they are worried someone will judge. A good Therapist just wants to set you free from your old cycles and inside noise. This is YOUR chance of a lifetime to rid yourself of unworkable patterns like old agreements, taking care of The Everything, and small thinking.

It’s never too late to live happily ever after. Can I get a “Hell Yea”?!
